Passed peacefully away, surrounded by her family, our beautiful mother, Mary Knox (nee Locke), 10 days after losing the love of her life, our dad, Leo Knox. Mary is predeceased by her husband of 75 years Leo; parents George David and Mary Ann Locke; baby girl Mirriam. Left with tremendous sadness are her 6 children Brenda (John), Pat (Patty), Kathleen (Keith), Stephanie (Ken), Greta (Colin) and Rod (Allison); her 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandson. Mom was a woman of incredible faith, an unshakable devotion to her family and a love for Dad that even death could not separate. She lived life simply, embracing time with family, everyday drives with Dad and she was happiest when surrounded by her grandkids. She is now safely in Dad’s arms, and in his own words “you are the love of my life and I will die loving you only”. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue with visitations on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 from 3pm-8pm. Funeral service to be held from Barrett’s Memorial Chapel on Thursday, January 31 at 11am.
