Passed peacefully away surrounded by his family at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Tuesday, January 29th, 2019, age 71 years. Predeceased by his parents Richard and Violet Druken; brothers Tom, Richard and Jim; sisters Mary, Alice and Kathleen. Leaving to mourn his brothers Joe (Ann), Andrew and Jerry; sisters Violet (Alex), Martha (Lester), Margaret and Ann; sister-in-law Ellen and brother-in-law John; as well as a large circle of family and friends. John will be resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Road. Visitation will take place on Thursday, January 31st and Friday, February 1st from 2:00-4:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm. Funeral Mass to take place from Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, St. Thomas’ Line, Paradise at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 2nd, 2019. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Topsail. Flowers are gratefully accepted, or donations may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation.
