The death occurred at Tignish, on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, of Christopher Joseph Gaudet of Nail Pond, age 31. Beloved husband of Chelsey (nee Adams) Gaudet. Born on Mother's Day, May 10, 1987, he was the cherished son of Ronald and Paulette (nee Christopher) Gaudet. Loving father to Gemma Grace Gaudet. Dear brother to Danielle (Michael) Goyette of Bathurst, NB, Jenny Lynn (Jacob) Buote of Nail Pond, PEI, and Julie Gaudet (Lyndon Oulton) of Cascumpec, PEI. Beloved grandson of Daniel (Myra Shea) Christopher of Nail Pond. Son-in-law of Glenn and Angela Adams of Alberton and brother-in-law to Chad (Karen) Adams of Bloomfield. He is survived by nieces and nephews, Kallie Adams, Anna Adams, Elliot Buote, Emmett Buote and Lennon Goyette. Also survived by grandparents-in-law Malcolm and Aleta Buchanan of O'Leary, and Lily Riley (late Ivan Adams) of Alberton. He will be sadly missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Bernice Christopher, and Joe and Mary Gaudet. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home & Chapel, Alberton. Visiting hours on Friday 6:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Saturday morning from St. Simon and St. Jude Church in Tignish, funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Internment later in the church cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorials for the Gemma Gaudet Trust Fund would be greatly appreciated.
