At the Prince Edward Home on Thursday, January 31 of Joan Loretta Hencher (nee Storey) of Charlottetown, age 86 years. Born in Charlottetown, she was a daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (nee Mutlow) Storey. Mother of Edward (Myra), Joanne (Twisty Walsh), Rhonda (Ray "Tick") Watts and John (Andrea). Grandmother to Tara, Luke, Ben, Rachael, Nathan and Rowan. Great Grandmother to Colton, Aria and Oliver. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Edward Hencher; brothers Frank, Lorne and Chester Storey; sisters Eunice Reid, Bertha and Marion; and a brother in infancy. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home where the funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Interment will take place later in The People’s Cemetery, Charlottetown. No visitation by personal request.
