Passed peacefully away at the Critical Care Unit, Health Sciences Centre, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 65. Predeceased by her first husband Edward Cleary, baby boy Cleary, parents Raymond and Beatrice Tucker, in-laws Edward and Mary Cleary, brothers-in-law Kenneth and Brian Cleary, and sister-in-law Diane (Caleb Anthony). Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 12 years David Rouse, son Raymond Cleary (Amanda), daughter Allison Cleary (Justin), “pride and joy” grandson Gavin Clarke, siblings Randy Tucker (Sharon), Linda Worthman (Lew), Fred Tucker (Dody), Calvin Tucker (Angela), Boyd Tucker (Bertilla), brother-in-law Darrell Rouse (Brenda), David’s step-sons Carl Snow (Cathy) and Greg Snow (Janice), step-grandson Derek Snow (Emma), special aunt Catherine Squires, and brothers and sisters-in-law Mike Cleary (Joan), Gary Cleary (Cynthia), Lynn Cleary, Bernice Stapleton (Greg), and Bill Cleary (Dawna), as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Cheryl will also be fondly remembered and missed by her Ryan’s Pond cabin friends. The family wishes to thank the team of the Critical Care Unit at the Health Sciences Centre for the excellent care and compassion. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, St. John’s, on Monday, February 4 and Tuesday, February 5 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from St. Philip’s Anglican Church on Wednesday, February 6 at 11 a.m. with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
