Passed peacefully away on February 7, 2019, surrounded by his loving family at Tiffany Village, St. John’s, Samuel James (Jim) Cook, formerly from Hickman's Harbour, at the age of 78. Jim is predeceased by his parents, Sarah Frances (nee Parrott) and Maxwell James Cook; and brother, Lloyd. Leaving to mourn are his wife, Marie; daughter, Lisa (Jason); son, Andrew (Penny-Lynn); grandchildren, Tyler and Sofie; sister, Linda (Anna); sister-in-law, Elizabeth Andrews; special friend of the family, Denise Leonard and a long list of relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will take place at a later date. A Celebration of Life in Jim's honor will take place on Sunday, February 17, 2019 from 2-4 pm at Tiffany Village. All are welcome. No flowers by request. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Newfoundland, in memory of his loving mom, Frances.
