Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family on Saturday, February 9, 2019, Helen Nixon, age 95 years. Predeceased by her husband Charles Nixon; parents Robert and Gertrude Hudson; brothers Ken, Walter and Jack Hudson. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children Marilyn Halleran (Kevin), Carl Nixon (Mary), and Paul Nixon (Brenda); grandchildren Karyn, Robyn, Nickie (Darrell), Krista (Cam), and Robert; step-grandchildren: Francine and Michael; four great-grandchildren; sister Marie Hunt; sister-in-law Joyce Nixon; brother-in-law Hubert Nixon; nieces, nephews, residents and staff of Meadow Creek Retirement Centre and a large number of extended family and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue with visitations on Monday, February 11, 2019 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service to be held from Barrett’s Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, February 12 at 2 pm. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
