It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Patrick James Thomas "P.J." Shea on Tuesday, February 12th, 2019 at the age of 42 years. He passed peacefully in the loving arms of his family. He leaves to mourn his loving wife and soul mate Lisa, two adorable boys William and Patrick, parents Tom and Anita Shea of Stephenville Crossing, parents-in-law Junior and Sharon Laing of St. John's, sisters Edwina (Rene) Cashin, Kathleen (Bob) McCourt, brother Donnie (Dale), sister-in-law Christine (Jim) Evans. P.J. dearly loved his nieces and nephews Samantha McCourt, Jonathan Cashin, Sarah Shea, Katie Shea, Ethan Evans and Lauren Evans. He will be dearly missed by his godparents Gus and Denise Shea, his aunts, uncles, cousins and many cherished friends who helped throughout his journey. Cremation has taken place. Family will receive visitors at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl on Wednesday and Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9. A celebration of P.J.'s life will take place at St. Peter's Parish, Mount Pearl on Friday, February 15th at 10:00 am. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetary on Topsail Road.
