With heavy hearts we would like to announce the sudden passing of Jean Elizabeth Comerford (nee Butler), on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at her home in Pouch Cove, NL, at the age of 63. Predeceased by her father Val Butler and her father-in-law Fergus Comerford. Leaving to mourn her loving and devoted husband Glenn; her children Neil (Jill), Amanda (Trent), Diane (Randy), and Andrew; her grandchildren Cienna, Ella, Madison, and Trent; her mother Jessie Butler; her mother-in-law Sadie Comerford, her brothers and sisters Brian (Roxanne), Irene (Carl), Darren (Patricia), Joanne (Tony), and Deana (Paul); her sisters-in-law Mary (Steve), Cathy (Wayne), Donna, Sarah (Larry); her brothers-in-law Brian (Andrea), Ernie (Sandra); and a large number of nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of friends and relatives far too lengthy to list. Her love of her family and fun loving sense of humour made her the beautiful soul that she was. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home in Torbay on Friday, February 15, 2019 from 3-9 PM and Saturday, February 16, 2019 from 10 AM - 12 PM. Funeral Mass to take place from St. Agnes’ Church in Pouch Cove on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 2 PM with cremation to follow. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Jean’s memory to St. Agnes’ Church or charity of one’s choice.
