It is with great sadness that the family of the late Catherine Mary Lewis announce her passing on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Centre in her 101 year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Bernard (Rosalind), James (Barbara), David (Ivy) and Kathy Quinlan; sons-in-law: Ray Neilson and Charlie Philip; grandchildren: Glen, Leslie, Raymond, Krista, Heather (Jonathan), Sonya (Rob), Jason, Lisa, Tracey (Joe), Kathryn, Jamie (Stefan), Phillip, Amanda (Travis), Daniel, Sean (Rosanna) and Ryan (Ashley); 16 great-grandchildren; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Phillip, parents Anastasia and Ben Carew, daughters Evelyn Neilson, Phyllis (George) Templeton and Regina Philips, son-in-law Leo Quinlan, sister Mary, brothers Jim, John and Ernest. A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Corner Brook Long Term Care 2 North for their care and kindness. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service and burial will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
