It is with great sadness that the family of the late STEPHEN BUTT of St. John’s announces his passing at the Caribou Memorial Veteran’s Pavilion, St. John’s, on Saturday, February 16, 2019, at the age of 83. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife, Betty of 61 years; son, Curtis (Kathy) of St. John’s; daughter, Sandra (Charles) Becker of Myrtle Beach, SC; sisters-in-law, Burnette Troke and Emily Martin; brother-in-law Raymond (Janet) Martin; plus, a large circle of relatives and friends. Stephen is predeceased by his parents, Randolph and Lily Butt; parents-in-law; John and Beatrice Martin; brothers-in-law, William Martin, John Martin and Allister Troke; sisters-in-law, Shirley Smith and Joan Martin. The family would like to thank the staff of Chancellor Park for their excellent care of Stephen over the past few months. A special thank you to Caribou Memorial Veteran’s Pavilion for their caring compassion over the past week. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave., on Tuesday & Wednesday, February 19 & 20 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Memorial service will take place on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Barrett’s Funeral Home.
