Age 66, Truro, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2019 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Truro, she was the daughter of the late Douglas and Catherine (MacFadyen) Burris. Brenda enjoyed working for the former Truro, A&W Drive in, which later became Deluxe Fish and Chips for a total of 48 years. She enjoyed walking and watching her favorite programs on TV. The family wishes to thank the wonderful homecare workers and V.O.N. that helped with Brenda’s care, you are truly appreciated. Survived by her son, Jason, Truro; sister, Rhonda (Kerry), Brentwood; brothers, Leroy (Debbie), Crowes Mills, Rodney (Kathy),
Brookfield, Derrick (Lucy), Middle Stewiacke, Wyman, South Branch, Darrell (Faye), Bible Hill; sister-in-law, Gloria; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Brenda was predeceased by her husband, Myles; brothers, Roland, Timothy and Kevin. Donations in memory may be made to Colchester S.P.C.A. Cremation has taken place under the care of Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro. There will be no visitation or service by request.
