Passed gently and peacefully away at Dr. Walter Templeman Hospital, February 19, 2019 under the care of the best and most caring nursing staff, doctors and hospital support staff. Waiting to help him along his journey, the love of his life, Joyce, his angel granddaughter, Denise, special nephew, Ray, and other Decker and Barrett family members. Leaving to mourn his children, Don (Beth), Brenda (Ben), Rendell (Marcia), Judy (Norm) and niece Jeannie; grandchildren, Don (Teri), Sean, Lori (Craig), Brian (Allison), Andrea (Rick), Keith (Michelle), Chris (Caley), Matthew (Amanda), Julie (Eric), Rhonda (Jericko), Mandy (Darrell) and Tammy(Raff ); great-grandchildren, Noah, Liam, Owen, Mckenzie, Sydney, Jaxon, Ezrie, Allister, Cameron, Kiana, Kaylee, Katelynn, Payton, Cameron, Wyatt, Ruby, Alyssa, Dawn, Jericko, Desiree, Megan and Madison; great-great-grandchildren, Ella and Scarlett. Also, leaving to mourn his special homecare workers, Maryann, Jeannie and Eileen, his shed buddies and a number of extended family and friends. Resting at Pendergast Funeral Home, Bell Island. Visitation to take place on Saturday, February 23 from 12-4 and 6-9 and Sunday, February 24 from 12-4 and 6-9. Christian burial to take place on Monday, February 25 at 3pm, St. Cyprian’s St. Mary’s Church, Bell Island with interment to follow at St. Boniface cemetery. Reception to follow at Bennett Hall.
