Passed peacefully away surrounded by his family after a lengthy battle with cancer, on Thursday, February 21, 2019, age 60 years. A dearly loved husband, father, son, brother and friend. Predeceased by his parents William and Sarah (Sadie) (nee Penney) and brothers Rick and Wayne. Leaving to mourn with cherished memories his loving and devoted wife of 32 years Debbie (Tuff); sons Chris and Nicholas; brothers and sisters David (Alicia), Lynette Foley (Bernie), Sharon Welsh (George – deceased), Randy, Gary and sister-in-law Gloria Trask. Also leaving to mourn, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. At Gerard’s request, cremation has taken place. Visitation from Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Sunday from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Monday, February 25, 2019 from Caul’s Chapel at 10 a.m. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the RCAF Association for the benefit of Air Cadets Squadrons in St. John’s, NL.
