Passed peacefully away at Saint Vincent’s Nursing Home, Halifax, NS February 15th at the age of 77. Predeceased by her parents Philip and Florence Fitzpatrick of St. John’s, Newfoundland; mother and father-in-law Germann and Thekla Rombach; husband Wolfgang Rombach; sisters Carol-Ann Abbott, Lucy Cooper; brother Alex Fitzpatrick; sister-in-law Stella Fitzpatrick. Leaving to mourn their sad loss, daughters Susan Bonner (Ken), grandsons Adam, Alexander, Jonah Bonner; daughter Betsy (Wayne) Thiessen, grandsons Alex, Will, Nick; son Mark Rombach (Tess Laidlaw), granddaughter Morley, grandson Wolfgang Jr; her Newfoundland Family, sisters: Florence (Stan-deceased) Evoy, Phyllis (Frank-deceased) Ryan, Patricia (Peter) Hutton, Philomena (Bren-deceased) McDonald, Loyola Maher, Janet Endsley; brothers: Robert (Brenda) Fitzpatrick, Philip (Susan) Fitzpatrick, Michael (Diane) Fitzpatrick; many cousins, nieces and nephews, along with her wonderful friends. Madonna was very active in the Roman Catholic “Visitation Parish” in Comber, Ontario. All who knew her, loved her. Cremation has taken place, Funeral Service and inurnment to take place at a later date to be announced. Donations in Madonna’s memory may be made to the registered charity of Saint Vincent’s Nursing Home, Halifax, NS
