John Hugh Campbell
It is with great sadness that we the family of John Hugh Campbell announce his passing on Feb 26 2019, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney Nova Scotia.
He was the son of the late Thomas ”West Point Tom” and Elizabeth Campbell.
He worked as a fisherman, John was a honest and trustworthy person and always put others before himself. He was the life of the party and will be remembered most for his positive attitude and happy spirit.
John is survived by his siblings Eliza Campbell, Alberta, Ron Campbell Main-A-Dieu, one niece Angelina (Jeffrey)Nelson, Alberta and 3 beloved great-nephews Thomas, Logan and Noah. Cousins Ronald ”Buddy” McDougall and Georgina (Lionel) Wadden.
A funeral Mass will take place Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at 2 p.m. at Immaculate Conception parish in Main-A-Dieu Fr.Evo DiPierro to officiate.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in John's memory to the Cape Breton SPCA.
