Passed peacefully away on Friday, March 1st, 2019, Margaret Tucker (nee McDonald), aged 86 years. Predeceased by her husband Charles; parents John and Isabel; brothers Frank and Thomas; sisters: Mary, Isabel and Catherine; grandson Derek; and nieces Deborah Martin and Catherine Earles. Leaving with fond and loving memories her sons Patrick McDonald (Linda), Gary Tucker (Cecilia) and Glenn Tucker; daughters Jacqueline (Ed Shapter) and Lisa Marshall (Alfred); grandchildren: Sharon, Laura (Steven), Andrew (Katie), Michele (Kevin), Bryan (Deanna), Nicole (Scott), Scott (Brie), Noah and Katie; great-grandchildren: Natalie, Emily, Dawson, Abbie, Logan, Aiden, Adam, Kaitlyn and Aislyn; sister Ellen Finn (Patrick); brothers Gerry McDonald (Dora) and Brendan McDonald; brother-in-law Abner Tucker (Fanny); numerous nieces and nephews and a large circle of family and friends. Margaret grew up on Portugal Cove Road and was a long time employee of the Pioneer Restaurant where she met her husband Charles and then moved to St. Philip’s. Special thanks to the staff of both North Pond Manor and St. Luke’s Homes for their compassion and care. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, March 3rd, 2019 from 2-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 5th, 2019 from Holy Rosary Church, Portugal Cove at ­­­­­10 a.m with inurnment to follow in St. Philip’s Anglican Cemetery, St. Philips. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Society, St. Luke’s Homes, or a charity of one’s choice.
