Following a courageous battle with cancer, Shelley Williams, age 45, passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family and friends on Tuesday, March 5, 2019. Predeceased by her father-in-law Edward Williams. Leaving to mourn, her husband and best friend of 22 years, Steven; precious children: Kearstin (Jarrett) and Kyle; parents Alton and Margaret Chafe; mother-in-law Ruby Williams; sister Tracy Turner (Ken); brother Jason Chafe (Crystal); sisters-in-law: Debbie Hannam (Ron), Dorothy Chaignon (Philippe), Dianne Williams, Daphne Evans (Tony), and Edwina Williams; many nieces and nephews – all of whom she loved so much; special puppy friend, Marley Beans; as well as extended family, and a large circle of friends and co-workers. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Thursday, March 7, and Friday, March 8, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will take place from St. George’s Anglican Church, Petty Harbour, on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 2 pm, with interment to follow at St. George’s Cemetery.
