It is with great sadness that the family of the late Roy Ambrose Elliott announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Saturday, March 9th, 2019 at the age of 85 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Lillian (Peyton), his two sons Roy (Ann) and Gary (Donna), his daughter Eleanor (Eddie) Rose, his seven grandchildren, his nine great-grandchildren, his brother Robert Elliott, his sister Eleanor (Jim) Ball, along with a large circle of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Edgar and Annette (Burton) and his brother John. The family will be receiving friends at Russell's Funeral Home in Stephenville on Wednesday, March 13th, 2019 from 7-9 pm from where funeral services will take place on Thursday, March 14th, 2019 at 10 am with Rev Bruce Rideout officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of one's choice in his memory would be greatly appreciated.
