WELLS, Shirley Louise - 76 of 1 Beacon Street, Yarmouth, passed away peacefully in Yarmouth Regional Hospital on March 13, 2019. Born April 17, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Chesley and Phyllis Fenton of Hebron. Shirley enjoyed gardening, picking blueberries and was an avid walker. She enjoyed the company of her family and many friends. She was also a dedicated employee working for many years at Rodd’s Grand Hotel, Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. She is survived by her best friend and companion, Roger Deveau; son, Robert (Sharon); daughter, Gina (Reginald) Hatfield; brother, Carl (Beulah) Fenton, Melbourne; sister, Thelma Fenton; nine grandchildren: Kara (Richard), Robert (Kristy), Tiffany, Amy (Jason), Darrell (Keshia), Jaime-Lynn (Matthew), Reginald (Courtney), Christopher (Samantha) and Anna (Matthew); 14 great grandchildren: Deacon, Logan, Payton, Lexie, Aiden, Ava, Tanner, Marissa, Jaden, Ethan, Rylee, Harmony, Hayden and Mayson. She was predeceased by her late husband, Robert Edward Wells; a daughter, Beverly Wells-Pinkney and a brother, Gary Fenton. In keeping with Shirley’s wishes cremation has taken place under direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, 29 Albert St. Yarmouth.
