Died on the 24th of March 2019 at Henley House in St. Catharines, aged 89 years. She is survived by her three children, Peter Boccioletti & Mary Doan, both of St. Catharines, and Jane Tannahill of Lower Sackville, NS. Her three grandchildren are Alex & Greg Doan and Graham Tannahill. She is also survived by sisters-in-law Verna Warren of Thorold & Marge Skinner of Amherst, NS, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Danny, her parents, Sam & Bertha Skinner, brothers Harry, Syd, Sam and sister, Mary. Betty was a career nurse, practising in the Niagara region for over 40 years, before her retirement. Special thanks to Henley House for their special care of Betty these past months, and to Gina for being there. According to Betty's wishes, there will be no service held. A celebration of life will be held at a later time. Memorial donations can be made to the Thorold Seniors' Center and may be made through the HAINE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 26 Ormond Street South, Thorold.
