Passed peacefully away at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Sunday, March 24, 2019, Raymond Strong of Clarenville, aged 80 years. Predeceased by his parents Bishel & Blanche; three sisters; one brother; grandson Tanner; one sister in law; two brothers in law. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Shirley of 62 years; children Gregory (Connie), Terry (Darryl), Shawn (Jill), Sandy (Christopher), Raymond Jr., 13 grandchildren Lesley, Hiliary, Tyler, Christopher, Jessa, Preston, Dillon, Dustin, Amber, Brandon, Raven, Vanessa, Matthew; four great grandchildren Hailey, Leah, Jake, Zoie; sisters Nita, Nina (Michael); brothers Lloyd (Linda), Hervine (Patsy) and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funeral service was held on Thursday, March 28, 2019 from Fewer’s Memorial Chapel, Clarenville with interment to follow at the United Church Cemetery, Church Hill, Clarenville.
