Age 83 of Dartmouth, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at home with family by her side. Born in Kelligrews, NL. She was a daughter of the late Warick and Lydia (Fagan) Butler. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Raymond; son, Frank (Johanne), Dartmouth; grandchildren, Matthew, Michael (Kristie), Christopher; great-grandson, Austin; step-granddaughter, Dannielle; sisters, Mary Atkinson (Bill), Ottawa, Marcella Butler, Winnipeg, Lydia Cox, St. Albert, Albt, Betty Butler (Charles), Kelligrews, NL and Carol Hawco (Mike), Logy Bay, NL. and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her son, Brian (Diana) and step mother, Phoebe Butler. Cremation has taken place. A Graveside service for family and friends will be held 2pm Tuesday, April 2 in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. A Celebration of Life to be held from 6-8 pm Tuesday, April 2 in Atlantic Funeral Homes, 771 Main Street Dartmouth. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
