Passed peacefully away at Chancellor Park Retirement Home, St. John's on Thursday, March 28, 2019, Dorothy Delaney of Gull Island, age 94 years. Predeceased by husband: Patrick; parents: Felix and Monica Hogan; sister: Bernadine Power; brothers: Bill (Helen) Hogan and Benedict Hogan; sisters-in-law: Rose Hogan and Mary 'Min' Hogan; brothers-in-law: Andrew Woodfine and Jack Hanrahan. Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Monica (Robert) Layman, Mount Pearl; two sons: Bill (Delores), Halifax, NS and Gerard (Stella), Mississauga, ON; six grandchildren: Scott (Doreen), Dawn (Lex), Dean (Audra), Todd (Megan), Paul (Maureen), and Beverley Ann (Darren); twelve great-grandchildren; two brothers: Leo (Marie) Hogan and James Hogan, both of Ontario; two sisters: Josephine Woodfine, Northern Bay and Mary 'Peg' Hanrahan, St. John’s; also, a large number of other relatives and friends.
