Peacefully, surrounded by family at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre on Saturday, March 30, 2019 of Harold “Parker” Jewell of York, age 89 years. Beloved husband of Irene (nee Chappell). Loving father of Eleanor (Fred) Anderson, Irwin (Barb), Edwin (Dawn) and Dale (Sheila) and grandfather of ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Brother of Shirley (Ray) Weeks, Roy (Elaine) and Beverley (George) Gillespie. Predeceased by his parents Robert and Ella (Vickerson) Jewell. Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. Funeral Wednesday from York United Church at 10:30 a.m. Interment in York Cemetery. Family flowers only, however if so desired memorials to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Oncology department or York Cemetery would be appreciated.
