Sadly, we announce the passing of our mom, Marjorie Estella White, age 96.8 years, on Sunday, March 31, 2019.
Marge was predeceased by her parents, Lillian (nee MacLeod) and Harry MacKenzie, as well as her sisters, Dot Duffy and Vera MacKenzie. She is reunited with her cherished husband, Tommy White.
Marge taught Sunday school for many years and was an active member of the United Protestant Church of Sydney River Choir up until her later years.
Left to mourn are her children, Karla White, Westmount and Kerry (Brenda) White, Point Edward; grandchildren, Todd Johnson, Amber (Jason) White Young and Colin (Natasha) White; great-grandchildren, Kiersten Mitchell,
Sasha and Emma Young, Brynn and Emmett White; and her great-great-grandchild, Kale Mitchell.
There will be no visitation. A funeral service will be held at the United Protestant Church of Sydney River on Thursday, April 4 at 11 a.m., with Rev. Dana Feltmate officiating. Private interment at a later date.
Family flowers only, please. Marge was a charitable person who appreciated any act of kindness and we request that you give your time or donation to those in need.
