It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gertrude Targett announce her passing on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at her family residence at the age of 90 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: David (Brenda), Gary (Rosemary), Gertie (Bob) McDonald, Judy (Jim) Hubbard, Joseph “Bim”, Delores (Terry) Hynes and Gerald (Connie); 20 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren; close friend Alva Woolfrey; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A special thank you to mom’s home care worker Jean Froud. She was predeceased by her husband Arthur, daughter Barbara Neil, son Douglas, grandson David, parents John and Beatrice Francis. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, April 8 at 2:00 p.m. from All Saints’ Anglican Church, Clarence Street with Rev. Tanya White officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to All Saints’ Anglican Church Memorial Fund.
