We, the family of the late Michael Wadden, wish to express our deepest appreciation to everyone who supported us during our great loss. To those who prepared or sent food, Mass cards, memorial donations, flowers, sympathy cards, e-mails, we are forever grateful. A sincere thank you to those who visited or attended the wake or funeral and to those who traveled to attend, we were truly overwhelmed by the kindness and love shown to us. Special thanks to the lectors, Valerie Hanham, Dena Edwards-Wadden and Angela Barrington-Wadden and also to his sisters, Hazel Williams and Joan MacKay for taking up the offertory gifts. The pallbearers chosen were important people in Mike’s life who were always so kind to him. Special thanks to the KOC Honor Guard of which Mike was so proud to be a Fourth Degree Knight and also to our friends from the Parkinson Support Group. Deep appreciation is extended to Fr. Patrick O’Neil for his wonderful homily, the Bereavement Team, Lady of Fatima Choir and the Lazarus Committee for providing the delicious lunch following the funeral.
A sincere thank you to Chant’s Funeral Home for their professionalism and kindness to our family. To the staff of Soldiers’ Cove, Harbourstone, we will always remember your dedication and kindness shown to Mike and our family during the last four years. To everyone who remembered us in your thoughts and prayers, your acts of kindness will never be forgotten.
