The death occurred peacefully with family by her side at the Colville Manor on Monday, April 8, 2019 of Constance “Connie” Kent (nee Hemphill) age 94 years and formerly of Fairfield, PE. Predeceased by her husband Patrick and son Greg. Loving mother to Patricia Butler (Bill). She will be fondly remembered by her 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She is survived by sisters Joyce Tucker, Jean MacDonald, Audrey Melanson and brother Elwin Hemphill from Pictou N.S. Predeceased by her parents Milton and Martha Hemphill, brother Walter (Eileen), Ralph, Junior (Agnes), sisters Temmy MacNeill (Pellar) and Eleanor Burke (Bernie), brothers-in-law Mervin Tucker, Archie MacDonald and sister-in-law Janet Hemphill. A funeral mass will be held at St. Columba Roman Catholic Church in Fairfield, PE on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 1:00pm. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
