August 3, 1955 – April 13, 2019

It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Bill (Billy) at the age of 63, at St. Clare’s Hospital. Bill presently residing at the Goulds was formerly from Bishop’s Cove. Bill is predeceased by his infant brother Henley; father Henley; and mother-in-law Helen Jankowski. He leaves to celebrate his life his loving wife Julie; daughter Jessica (Justin); son Edward (Courtney); his precious grandchildren: William, and Logan; his special buddy and sidekick Alexis; mother Florence; father-in-law Peter Jankowski; brothers: Gerald (Mary), and Paul (Janice); sisters: Barbara (Dave), and Doreen; his nephew and nieces whom he loved dearly; special friend Shawn Burton with whom he shared many laughs, stories, and adventures; also a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Sunday, April 14th, from 7:00p.m.-9:00p.m.; and Monday, April 15th, from 2:00p.m. - 9:00p.m. Visitation will resume at Lynch’s Funeral Home, Spaniards Bay, on Tuesday, April 16th, from 12:00p.m. - 9:00p.m.; and on Wednesday, April 17th, from 10:00a.m. - 2:00p.m.. Service to follow at Lynch’s Chapel at 2:00p.m. Cremation to follow. Interment to be at St. John’s Anglican Cemetery, Bishop’s Cove on Thursday, April 18th, at 2:00p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
