Joseph Melanson

MELANSON, JOSEPH - Joseph A. Melanson, 91, of Veterans Health Centre, Moncton, formerly of St-André-LeBlanc passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2011 at the Veterans Centre following a lengthy illness. Born September 4th, 1920, he was the son of the late Ferdinand and Ada (Richard) Melanson. He was a retired farmer, woodsman, and a veteran of W.W.2. He is survived by his four sisters: Rita Spak, Alice Hebert, Florida Gervais, Laura Neville, a brother, Romeo; many nieces, and nephews. He is predeceased by two sisters: Marguerite Breau, and Rosée Dupuis; five brothers: Sylvain, Arthur, Léo, Paul, and Albert.
The family will receive condolences at the Funérarium Frenette, 2468 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé (577-3297). Visiting hours Tuesday June 7 from 11 a.m. until time of departure (11:55) then to Ste-Thérèse d'Avila R.C. Church, Cap-Pelé from where the funeral mass will be celebrated at noon.
