The death occurred peacefully at Margaret Stewart Ellis Home, O’leary, PEI on Monday, May 6, 2019 of Eileen Dorothy (nee Clements) Apblett of O’leary, aged 84 years. Eileen was born in Sydney, NS, to the late Wallace and Frances (nee Gosse) Clements.
Beloved wife of the late Douglas Apblett and loving mother of John (Monique Richard), Beaverbrook, NB, Allen (Natalie Menzies), Stillwater, Oklahoma, Louise (Craig Hall), Mount Pleasant, PE. Also, lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, David, Nicole and Laura; great-grandchildren, Vienna, Knox and Beckham. Survived by many relatives and friends.
Predeceased by her sons, Douglas Edward ‘Little Dougie’ in infancy and Alexander ‘Alex’ Robert.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. By personal request there will be no visiting hours held, a funeral service will be held at the Sydney Memorial Chapel, Sydney, NS on Friday, May 10 at 11 a.m. with a reception to follow. Interment will take place in the Forest Haven Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Sydney at a later date.
