Shirley (nee Oakley) — Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Complex in the presence of her loving family on Saturday, June 4, 2011, Shirley Gilbert aged 78 years. Predeceased by five sisters Beatrice, Bertha, Agnes, Ella and Jean. Leaving to mourn and celebrate her life are loving husband Ewen; three children Debbie, Randy (Gail) and Lisa (Stephen); two step-grandchildren Justin and Breanne. She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her family and friends. At Shirley’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private interment will be held at a later date.
