The death occurred at Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Thursday, May 9, 2019 Vernon Henry Boyle of Inverness aged 82. Vernon was born in Inverness on June 5, 1936, son of Henry & Ruth (MacDonald) Boyle. Vernon was a quiet, humble, generous man, and a friend to all who entered his home, He is lovingly remembered step-sisters Phyllis (late Gordon) Milligan and Wilma (late Richard) McCartney, numerous step-nephews, step-nieces and their families, as well as many cousins and friends. Vernon is predeceased by his parents, brother Charles Frederick, step-mother Virginia (Wilson) MacKay-Boyle and nurmous step silblings. Resting at Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel, with visiting hours Sunday from 2-4 pm Funeral service on Monday at 3pm in the Chapel. Interment in St. Peter’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Foxley River. In memory of Vernon, memorials to St. Peter’s Anglican Church or Cemetery would be appreciated.
