The funeral for Alberta Elvie Deagle was held on Thursday, May 30, 2019 from Belvedere Funeral Home to St. Andrew’s Church, Mount Stewart where the mass was presided over by Fr. Augustine who proclaimed the Gospel and delivered the homily. The readings were proclaimed by Deanne O’Hanley (Deagle) and Chad Deagle. Dianne Deagle led the Assembly in the Prayers of the Faithful. Chad Deagle played guitar as the family entered the church. During the mass Rhonda Deagle, Charity Deagle, Donna Deagle Peters and Lisa Novakowski (Deagle) accompanied by Chad Deagle led the Assembly in singing Hail Mary: Gentle Woman, Only A Shadow, Come to The Water, Be Not Afraid and In The Arms Of An Angel. Honorary pallbearers were everyone in attendance. Pallbearers were Dale Deagle, Jerry Deagle, John Deagle, Craig Trainor, Cory Deagle and Shane Hennessey Jr. Interment took place in St. Andrew’s Roman Catholic Cemetery. Following the interment everyone was invited to join the family at Mount Stewart Fire Hall for a reception.
