The death occurred at his home in Charlottetown, on Monday, June 3, 2019, of Terry Byrne, beloved husband of Shirley Byrne (nee Doucette), of Charlottetown, aged 72. Terry was the loving father of Bonnie Johnson (Kevin), Robyn Byrne (Adam Cowley) and Patrick Byrne; and grandfather of Summer and Jay Johnson. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Reggie Doucette (Helen), Linda Peters (Bill Harper), Donald Doucette (Carol) and Camilla McAleer (John). Terry was predeceased by his parents, Eric and Mary (Whitehead) Byrne; parents-in-law, Joe and Zilda Doucette; sister-in-law, Dianne Thomson (Jim); and brother-in-law, Stirling Peters. Resting at St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church, Rustico, for visitation on Thursday, June 6, 2019, from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church, Rustico, on Friday, June 7, 2019, at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Augustine’s Cemetery.
