The death occurred at the Dr. John Gillis Memorial Lodge on Tuesday, September 1, 2009, of Percy E. Myers of Montague, age 94 years.
Husband of Florence Moore (nee MacEachern) and the late Gladys (Birt). Father of Shirley (Ken) MacLeod, Everett (predeceased) his wife Violet Ashe, Sylvia Taylor, and Debbie (Allan) MacDonald. Survived by 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel from where the service will be held on Monday at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Wick Cemetery, Blackwater, Ontario.
If so desired, memorials to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital would be appreciated.
No flowers due to severe family allergies. Visiting hours Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m.
A Masonic memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Sunday at 4 p.m. All brethren are asked to attend.
