The death occurred at the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Thursday, June 6, 2019, of Daniel Milo MacMillan of the Tignish Seniors Coop Home and formerly of Central Kildare, aged 79 years. Born at Kildare, PEI, on May 19, 1940, he was the son of the late Daniel E. and Pearl B. (nee MacPherson) MacMillan. Dear father to Emmerson of Fergus, ON, Emmett of Three Hills, AB., Gloria (Richard Paige) of Sherwood Park, AB., and Gail of Ascension. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Lacee McPhee, Melissa McMillan and Melanie McMillan (Josh Butt). He was predeceased by a sister Georgina (late Wilson) Wells of Alberton. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home & Chapel, Alberton, for visiting hours on Sunday, June 9, 2019, 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Monday morning, June 10th from the Sacred Heart Church, Alberton, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Andrew MacDonald, Celebrant. Interment in the parish cemetery.
