With heartfelt sorrow, we, the family of Christopher Hemmings, regret to announce his passing on June 7, 2019 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital with his family at his side. In 2011, Christopher graduated with an honors degree from Sydney Academy. He had a passion for food and music. There are no words to express how much you are all appreciated.

To Christopher
Blessings on you, little man
For you have filled our hearts with joy!
With your wondrous, smiling eyes
You’ve been our angel in disguise.

Now it’s time to let you go
So spread your wings, but forever know
That as time goes by, as it always will,
There’s a place in our hearts only you can fill!
