Peacefully at the Atlantic Baptist Home Charlottetown on June 10, 2019 at age 86, after a comfortable stay of three years where Moira was well taken care of. Daughter of Mary and Robert Notman of Pointe Claire Quebec and survived by loving brother Kieth R Notman and wife Jeanne Gauthier MacKenzie of Charlottetown and niece Penny MacLeod (Taylor and Tanton) of Stanhope and nephews Richard, wife Peggy (Casey and Zack) and Christopher, wife Saadet (Leo) Notman of Burlington, Ontario. Moira moved to PEI after a rewarding career as a grade 5 & 6 teacher in the Vancouver School System. Moira was a resident of Geneva Villa for four years until ill health caused her to move to Atlantic Baptist for more active nursing care. Moira was an avid painter of water colors and pencil art and enjoyed travelling and painting what she saw on her return. Her many surviving friends in Vancouver will miss her phone conversations and Christmas letters. Service to be held at Belvedere Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 19 at 4 p.m. with reception following in the Belvedere Funeral Home Reception Centre.
