Madelein Leger
LÉGER, MADELEINE - Madeleine Léger, 102, formerly of Boudreau Office, passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at the Villa Providence in Shediac. Born April 20, 1909 in Saint-Ignace, N.B., she was the daughter of the late Dosithé and Suzanne (Gallant) Richard. She is survived by two daughters: Camilla Richard (Donald) and Exelda Allain (Herman), both of Moncton; two sons: Alphonse (Florence) of Ellington, CT, and Edmond (Ella) of Shediac; one daughter-in-law, Marcelle Léger of Shediac; one sister, Vitaline Richard of Moncton; 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, Rodolphe (1950), one son, Maurice (2007), one sister, Pauline and one brother, Jean-Baptiste.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) on Friday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, from 9 a.m. until departure (9:50a.m.). The funeral mass will be celebrated at Saint-Joseph R.C. Church, Shediac, on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at 10 a.m. Interment will be in parish cemetery.
