1942 – 2019. Father, Husband, Papa, Brother, Uncle, Son, Heaven has taken another great one. Mr. Raymond Denis ‘Ray’ Gallant, passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Monday, July 8, 2019 at the age of 76 years. Ray was born and raised in Fredericton, Prince Edward Island and moved to Calgary, Alberta in the early 1960’s. He enjoyed a long career in the Oil and Gas Industry, retiring after more than forty years. Ray had a life-long love for family, music, laughter and a good kitchen party. Ray will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Debbie Lee; his children, Gord (Shelley) Gallant, Heather Gallant (Robert Turner), Dillon Lee, and Terri Ann Lee (Jeff McKnight); and his grandchildren, Carter Gallant, Daniel Gallant, Emmit Gallant, Ory Lee, Jax McKnight, and Adlee McKnight. He will also be sadly missed by his brother, Paul (Gladys) Gallant; his sisters, Anita (Melvin) Doiron, Doris Reid, and Thelma Hancock; as well as many other family and friends. Ray was predeceased by his parents, Leo and Mary Gallant; his brothers, Alf Gallant and Reg Gallant; and his sisters, Helena Deveaux and Fran MacDonald.
