Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Sunday, July 14, 2019, of Etta (Compton) Burch, of Summerside, aged 79 years. Born in Sherbrooke, she was the daughter of the late Reginald and Margaret (Todd) Compton. Survived by her children Jim (Dianne) Burch, George Burch, Joan Burch (Philip Arsenault) and Cathy Watson; grandchildren James Mallett, Christy Burch (Todd Stewart), Katie (Thomas) McSweeney, Lori Burch (Jon Beardsley), Scott Watson and Tyler Doyle; great-grandchildren Bridget Stewart; Jack, Simon and Anna Watson; brothers and sisters Doris (Rob) Peterson, Violet (Lloyd) Banks, Lea (Judy) Compton and Wayne (Anne) Compton; brothers and sisters-in-law Gloria (Lorne) Gallant, Connie (John) Gallant, Millicent Hutchinson, Ruth Brault, Colleen (Steve) Delzer and Florence Birch. Predeceased by her husband Donald Burch; a brother Charles Compton; and by brothers-in-law Myles and Perry Birch. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside. A private family service will be held. No visiting hours or funeral service by personal request. Interment in Peoples Cemetery, Summerside.
