The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Friday, July 19, 2019, of Clair Burton, of Summerside, aged 85 years. Born in Boissevain, MB, he was the son of the late Charles and Edna (Plunkett) Burton. Survived by his wife Judy (Paterson) Burton; daughter Pamela (Darren) Day; son Gregory (Heather) Burton; grandchildren Christopher, Michael and Steven Day; Robin Burton; and Kate Ross; brothers Robert and Frank (Sandra) Burton; sisters Wilma Seafoot and Jean Percy; and by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Bernice (Glenn) Campbell; brothers Allan, Keith, Lyle and Floyd Burton; sister-in-law Margaret Burton; and by brothers-in-law Garth Seafoot and Ellis Percy. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside. No visiting hours or funeral service by personal request. Services to be held later in Boissevain, MB.
