Isla’s date of birth

RITCHIE, Isla Grace – Was born into the loving arms of her parents at 10:54 a.m. on June 6, 2011 at Markham Stouffville Hospital in Markham, Ontario. Isla is the cherished daughter of Michael and Cheryl Ritchie (Evans) and beloved sister of Ava. She weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces and had a full head of shiny dark hair. Isla’s mommy and daddy held Isla on her birthday as the angels took her to their heavenly home. Isla felt the love and excitement awaiting her arrival throughout the pregnancy and was told “I love you” an uncountable amount of times. She takes this knowledge and warmth with her. She is greeted in Heaven by her grandfather, Matthew Evans and mourned on Earth by her grandmothers Sandra Evans of St. John’s, Newfoundland and Trudy Bamborough of Toronto, Ontario, as well as grandparents Heather and Mike Ritchie of Bolton, Ontario and many aunts, uncles, cousins and so many dear friends. A private service will be held at a later date. Contributions in Isla’s memory can be made to the Markham Stouffville Hospital Baby Unit. Cheryl and Michael would like to thank the dedicated doctors and nurses at the Hospital for their compassion and support.
