It with great and heartfelt sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved son Donnie Sheppard on September 6, 2009, aged 34 years. Predeceased by his grandparents, Levi and Mini Strickland; grandfather Clarence Sheppard; uncles Cecil and Andre Strickland. Leaving to mourn are his loving and devoted parents Audrey and Don, Grandmother Dorothy Dutton, his dear sister DeAnne (Scott), and adoring niece Makayla, as well as a special friend and companion Mary Oliver and daughter Emilie, and true friend Carrie Hayward. Also left to mourn are numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl on Tuesday, September 8, 2009 from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, September 9, 2009 and Thursday, September 10, 2009 from 10 a.m.to 12 p.m., 2 to 4 p.m., and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service to take place at St. Peters Parish, Mount Pearl at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, September 11, 2009.
