TRECARTIN, EDWARD (TED) - Edward (Ted) Trecartin of Hartland passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at the Central Carleton Nursing Home in Hartland. He was born February 28, 1925 and was the son of the late Ransford and Sue Trecartin. He was predeceased by his wife, Laura (Shaw) Trecartin; son, Larry Trecartin; sisters, Eileen Picard and Shirley Craig; brother, Gilbert Trecartin. Ted is survived by his children, Weldon (Geraldine) Trecartin of Woodstock, Jerry (Sueanne) Trecartin of Cloverdale, Brenda (Eugene) Veinotte of Hartland, Nancy (David Campbell) Dunbar of Rockland; grandchildren, Shawn (Barbara) Trecartin, Kristin (Linda) Trecartin, Joseph (Jennifer) Trecartin, Oakley Trecartin, Claire Trecartin, Stephanie (Peter) McLaughlin, Steven Veinotte, Eva Dunbar; step grandchildren, Sherry (Daniel) Foster, Donna (Terry) Graham, David (Nancy) Pimlott, Allison Pimlott; great grandchildren, Simon Trecartin, Julian Trecartin, Molly Trecartin, Emily Trecartin, Georgia Trecartin, Patrick McLaughlin, Gracyn McLaughlin, Aaron Corrick; several step great grandchildren; siblings, Frederick (Mary) Trecartin of Hartland, Weldon (Glenna) Trecartin of Coldstream, Kenneth (Noreen) Trecartin of Coldstream, Hilda (James) Barrett of Somerville, June Haslett of Saint John; nieces and nephews.
Resting at the Britton Funeral Home 2 High Street, Hartland with visiting hours on Friday, June 17th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 18th at 2:00 p.m from the Coldstream Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Horsman officiating. Interment will be in the Hillside Cemetery in Rockland. If so desired donations can be made to the Hillside Cemetery or the Alzheimer Society. www.brittonfh.ca
