We the family of the late Hector MacNeil would like to express our sincere gratitude to all who offered support during the loss of our father, grandfather, and great grandfather. We would like to acknowledge, with heartfelt thanks, relatives, friends and neighbours who phoned, sent sympathy and mass cards, monetary gifts, flowers, charitable donations, and food to our homes. To those who visited the funeral home and attended the funeral mass, your presence comforted the family. A sincere thank you to the members of the Cape Breton Naval Veterans Association for their moving service at the funeral home as well as the members of Branch #19 Royal Canadian Legion, who formed the honor guard and for their service at the graveside. Thank you is also extended to the following: Fr.Jake Andrea, altar servers, choir and readers; the pallbearers, and the ladies who provided the lovely lunch at the reception following the service. Thank you to Dr. J. Kirkpatrick, Dr. A. Wawer and Dr. D. Kohlsmith and to Dooley’s Funeral Home.
