David Lindsay Crawford, 47 of Sydney, formerly of Grand Etang, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in Sydney.
Born in Fredericton, N.B., he was a son of Jeannine (Arseneau) Crawford and the late William Crawford.
Besides his mother, Jeannine Crawford, Grand Etang, David is survived by maternal grandmother, Lena Arseneau and paternal grandmother, Lucy Crawford; two sisters, Carolyn (Perry) Muise, LaPrairie and Cindy Crawford (Dean), Belle Marche; nieces and nephews, Danielle Muise, Stephane Muise, Mathieu Muise and Mera Holman.
Cremation has taken place. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at 11 a.m. at l’Église Saint-Joseph, Saint-Joseph du Moine, Fr. Peter LeBlanc officiating. Interment in the parish cemetery.
Donations may be made to Cape Breton Community Housing Charitable Foundation or Schizophrenia Society of N.S.
