DONALD KROSHUS
Date de décès : 26 juin 2011
It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Donald Francis Kroshus on June 26, 2011. Don was born in Glenwood, Minnesota on May 5, 1929 to George and Grace Kroshus; shortly thereafter they moved to Assiniboia where his father started providing dental care to the people of that district. Don followed in his Father’s footsteps attending Northwestern University in Chicago and graduating as a dentist as well. Don married Betty Bryerton and moved to Moose Jaw in 1954 and began practicing dentistry; he retired in 1991 and had many years working in his metal and wood working shop. All those who knew Don appreciated his quest for perfection. Don was a master craftsman by all means. Don leaves behind to mourn the girl of his dreams, his wife and companion for over 45 years, Mildred Tulloch; his sons John (Claire), Jim (Roseline), and daughter Mary. Don was predeceased by one son Richard. Later in life Don spent most everyday swinging a golf club or walking in Wakamow with his pals “The Grumpy Old Men” who gave Don a tremendous amount of joy and laughter. At Don’s request, there will be no funeral; instead there will be a “Celebration of Don’s life” that will be held at a later date. Flowers are gratefully declined; if you wish, donations may be made in Don’s name to the Wakamow Valley Authority, Box 1266, Moose Jaw, S6H 4P9. In living memory of Don, a tree will be planted in Besant Park by W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home. Please sign the memorial register at website: www.wjjonesandson.com (Obituaries).
